Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a covering that covers an existing tooth. People often refer to them as caps. It aesthetically improves the way a broken or heavily decayed tooth appears.

A crown also is much stronger and lasts longer than a plastic restoration.

Crowns can be made of precious metals like gold, porcelain or the latest style Zirconia.

Dental crowns can be used to cover a severely broken or decayed tooth when too much of the original tooth is missing.

This may include:

  • After root canal treatment to reinforce the the tooth

Dental Bridges

A bridge permanently replaces missing teeth with a false tooth. The bridge is attached to teeth on either side to the missing tooth/ gap and is not removable.
